Aloha! Welcome to Hawaii Vivid Watercolors!

I'm so excited for you to dive into this vibrant collection inspired by the breathtaking beauty of Hawaii, and of Sonoma Valley!

I'm thrilled for you to see the canvas prints that I created with images of my original watercolor paintings printed on them, and the unique Art Merch that I designed.

They are vivid mosaics of color with incredibly lucid detail. Each piece bursts with energy.

Often described as "luminous", they are quite possibly the most unique photo-realistic watercolor paintings on the planet.

This is simply because I invented my own technique. No one else paints this way.

My major works express the affinity and kinship I had with the aina (land) when I lived off-grid in Kona.

I was so blessed to experience these delights that caressed all the senses: the beauty of rare, exotic flowers; the warm, sweetly-scented air; the soft, feathery ocean breezes; fruit growing wild + unattended.

All of my Hawaii paintings are deeply personal. Most of the subject matter grew on my property in Kona, or just down the road, as in Zen Bamboo.

Having lived in the islands for over 20 years, I can tell you...it is paradise. Sonoma Valley, too, has its own version of paradise, Northern California wine-country style!
