Feel free to dive into my vibrant collection of watercolor paintings inspired by the breathtaking beauty I experienced living in Kona, Hawaii and Sonoma Valley.
They are vivid mosaics of color with incredibly lucid detail, each piece brimming with energy.
Often described as "luminous", these are quite possibly the most original photo-realistic watercolor paintings on the planet.
This is simply because I invented my own unique technique. No one else paints this way!

My major works express the affinity and kinship I had with the aina (land) when I lived off-grid in Kona.
I was so blessed to experience these delights that caressed all the senses: the beauty of rare, exotic flowers; the warm, sweetly-scented air; the soft, feathery ocean breezes; fruit growing wild + unattended.
All of my Hawaii paintings are deeply personal. Most of the subject matter grew on my properties in Kona, or just down the road, as in Zen Bamboo.
Having lived in the islands for over 20 years, I can tell you...it is paradise. Sonoma Valley, too, has its own version of paradise, Northern California, wine-country style!

**My yoga name, Kaveri, is pronounced like "very very Kaveri". It means "bringer of nourishment" in Sanskirt and is also a sacred river in southern India, where I was gifted the name by my beloved Guru.
